Dr. Prachi Aggarwal is an Assistant Professor of Chinese Language and Literature, Department of East Asian Studies at the University of Delhi. Formerly, she was based at Sanchi University of Buddhist Indic Studies. Her areas of interest are energy studies, Chinese diplomacy and India-China relations. She has written for various columns and online websites and also published papers in reputed journals. She is the author of China’s Energy Security: The Journey from Self-Sufficiency to Global Investor, which was published in 2022 by Palgrave Macmillan Singapore as well as China’s Energy Security: The Domestic Discussion published by Knowledge World Publishers, New Delhi. She is fluent in Mandarin and has been invited as a panel speaker at LSTV Insight Programme, NewsX channel as well as at various universities both inside and outside India.
