Dr. Don Mclain Gill

Dr. Don McLain Gill is a geopolitical analyst, author, and lecturer at the Department of International Studies at De La Salle University. He is an Indo-Pacific Research Fellow at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and an Advisory Board Member of the WPS Foundation. He is also a Non-Resident Fellow at the Stratbase Institute. His work encompasses Philippine foreign policy, maritime security in the Indo-Pacific, and India-Southeast Asia security relations. He has written in the form of books, book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles, expert commentaries, and newspaper columns. He is regularly interviewed by various news channels, and he is often invited as a speaker by universities, think tanks, government agencies, and research centers in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. He completed his PhD at the University of Portsmouth.
