Theme: Manoeuvring the Field of Social Science Research
FLAME University and the Organisation for Research on China and Asia (ORCA), New Delhi recently signed an MoU for Academic and Research Cooperation to focus on student research and real-time work experience while doing their undergraduate degree at FLAME (IS in particular). In the session, the Director of ORCA, Ms. Eerishika Pankaj, and Senior Research Associate, Mr. Rahul Karan Reddy spoke on career prospects and experiences working in academia and research institutions and the opportunities available at ORCA as part of the MoU.
By sharing their own experiences, they spoke about the opportunities available to students focusing on social science, enhancing their academic credentials/research profile, and how a degree in international studies, public policy, and other social sciences is a pathway to promising careers in academia and the think tank sector.
