ORCA’s delegation comprising of Director Ms. Eerishika Pankaj, Director of ORCA Consultancy and Senior Research Associate Mr. Omkar Bhole undertook a series of institutional engagements in Singapore between 29th June to 3rd July 2026, with leading think tanks, universities, policy institutes and diplomatic stakeholders to exchange perspectives on regional geopolitical developments and explore avenues for future collaboration. Meetings were held with experts from Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD) and Carnegie China, Singapore.
The delegation also held individual meetings with senior scholars and experts including Dr. Amitendu Palit from Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS); Ms. Han Yong Hong and Mr. Ng Hon Kuan from Lianhe Zaobao / ThinkChina and Dr. Chen Bo from East Asian Institute (EAI) at National University of Singapore (NUS).
The delegation was also hosted at The High Commission of India, Singapore, where ORCA researchers met Dr. Shilpak Ambule, Indian High Commissioner and Mr. Aniket Patankar, First Secretary (Political and Press), The High Commission of India, Singapore.
The discussions with Singapore-based scholars from think tanks and universities focused on India-China relations, China's domestic developments, India-ASEAN relations, China’s political and economic influence in the region, perceptions on India-China relations in Southeast Asia and more. It also emphasized on ideating more opportunities for think tank research between India and Singapore, and expanding ORCA's research networks.
