ORCA’s Director Ms. Eerishika Pankaj was invited as a speaker at the 19th Subroto Mukerjee Seminar on the theme “India’s Eminence: The Emerging World Order,” organised by the Centre for Air Power Studies (CAPS) on 22 December 2022 at the Air Force Auditorium, Subroto Park, New Delhi. The seminar brought together senior military leadership, strategic experts, and academics to deliberate on India’s evolving role in a rapidly changing global order shaped by geopolitical flux and intensifying great-power competition.
Session II on “The World in a Flux” was chaired by Air Vice Marshal Anil Golani (Retd), Additional Director General, CAPS, and focused on key contemporary global security challenges, including the Russia–Ukraine conflict and its broader strategic implications. The session examined lessons learned from ongoing conflicts and the emerging challenges for future warfare, international stability, and strategic balance.
Ms. Pankaj spoke on the theme “China’s Rise and the Challenges for India".
